&beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp

In the untouched seclusion of a remote, idyllic valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, east of Lake Victoria, lies the tented Grumeti River Camp. Flanked by two hillsides, this blissful camp nestles beneath tall riverine trees on the banks of an oxbow tributary of the Grumeti River.
It is one of the wildest and most remote camps in Africa's greatest wildlife sanctuary, the Serengeti.

Situated in the remote western corridor of the Serengeti National Park. This unspoilt wilderness is not only famous for its river, but also for the thousands of animals that wade across it every year during the 'Great Migration'.

Offers a dining room, open front sitting area, a bar and boma serving delicious Pan African gourmet meals prepared on traditional stone ovens. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, local safari shop, game drives, sundowners, bird watching, excursions to Lake Victoria - the second largest lake in the world*, community visits* and a reading room.

Accommodation at &beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp
10 spacious tents, which are intimate and distinctive with en suite bathroom with shower, which is open to the stars. Each flamboyant tent perches on a raised platform. Lie under the cool shade of African thatch grass, stirred by an overhead fan (2 adults and 1 child).
Board Basis at &beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, soft drinks, beer, house wine, local brand spirits, tea/coffee, refreshments on game drives and laundry included.
The lodge is closed in April.
