Skeleton Coast Camp offers a Namibia safari in one of Africa's most outstanding areas. Guests have the chance to enjoy everything from windswept plains and sand dunes, imposing canyons and saltpans to Cape fur seal colonies.
Location of Skeleton Coast Camp
Skeleton Coast Camp is a six-roomed luxury tented camp in the heart of the Skeleton Coast Park. It is built on an island in a dry riverbed about 20 km inland from the coastline.
Facilities at Skeleton Coast Camp
Activities include either full-day nature drives or walks with a picnic lunch, returning to camp in the evening, or half-day nature drives or walks returning to camp for lunch and venturing out again in the afternoon. Excursions may also include visits to Himba villages, shipwreck sites, seal colonies and the clay castles of Hoarusib River.
Accommodation at Skeleton Coast Camp
Each of the 6 tents is roomy and has an en suite bathroom, wooden floors and wooden doors. Superior tents (2 adults).
